Truffletopia aspires to build awareness of truffles while maintaining a fully sustainable, organic truffle farm and bringing the rare delicacy to the tables of our local communities.
Truffletopia was started by 3 families who've joined forces to share their love of food with the rest of their communities. As college roommates at Florida State University, Mickey, Tony, and Josh bonded over family style meals. Despite being away from their families, these meals became a college tradition. The three friends, along with their other friends, would cook some of their favorite meals. "We believe food truly brings people together! It's the one thing we all have in common, and it's important to share in these experiences which become lasting memories." Truffletopia is destined to make the experience of truffles available to all people, not just the wealthy or those who are fortunate to have access to truffles. Think of truffle as the new garlic or onion!

Our location was featured on HGTV's Self Made Mansions, where the Joshua Esnard (Shark Tank winner/Co Founder of Truffletopia) searched for the property with Clinton Kelly. Joshua discovered that there was 26 acres available next to the home they chose. Joshua quickly called his best friends from college to show them the land. Tony flew into Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mickey flew in from New York to check it out. We instantly fell in love with the land for our future truffle farm! Our farm is just outside Chapel Hill in the heart of the North Carolina Piedmont, and our shared vision, is now Truffletopia!
